The Family Fun Hub returns to Leather Market Gardens for Bermondsey Street Festival 2026, bringing together a full day of family-friendly activities, local businesses, live entertainment, food, drink and community spirit.

Running from 11am–6pm, the Family Fun Hub is a dedicated space for families to explore, play, discover and connect. Expect interactive activities, face painting, live music throughout the day, local makers, independent traders, workshops, food and drink, and plenty of opportunities to support the brilliant businesses that make our community unique. And of course the famous Holly&Lil Dog Show and Maypole Dance return for the 20th year running.

This year’s theme is nature and the environment, with a focus on creativity, sustainability and inspiring the next generation to think about the world around them. Many of our activities and exhibitors will be embracing environmentally friendly ideas, products and practices throughout the day.

One of the highlights of the programme will be our Wild Thing Dress Up and Disco from 3pm–4pm. We’re inviting children and families to create imaginative costumes inspired by nature, recycling and sustainability, with prizes awarded for the most creative outfits. Whether it’s made from recycled materials, repurposed clothing or a completely wild eco-inspired creation, the bigger and bolder the better. And there will be prizes for the winners.
